Standard shower enclosures use 6mm tempered safety glass, which is perfectly adequate for framed enclosures. Frameless and walk-in panels typically use 8mm or 10mm glass for rigidity and a premium feel. All our glass is toughened safety glass that crumbles into small pieces if broken.

Do I need a shower tray or can I have a wet room?

Both are options. Shower trays are easier and cheaper to install — they sit on the floor and have a built-in gradient for drainage. Wet rooms require the entire floor to be tanked (waterproofed) and a linear drain installed at floor level. Wet rooms look stunning but cost more to install correctly.
