Detachable and removable parts: 1 year only
Detachable or removable components are covered for 1 year only, regardless of the guarantee period on the main product body. This includes shower hoses, tap legs and feet, adjustable handles, riser rails, and any other separately attachable part. The main product body retains its full guarantee period.
Water inside a new product is completely normal
Some products, particularly taps, showers, and valves, may contain small amounts of water when you receive them. This is the result of batch quality testing carried out by the manufacturer before dispatch and is not a fault. It does not affect the product in any way and is no cause for concern.
Use the right cleaning products
Damage caused by harsh cleaners, bleach, supermarket bathroom sprays, or abrasive cloths voids the finish guarantee. All product surfaces and finishes must be cleaned with warm water and mild pH-neutral soap only. Always follow the manufacturer's care guide supplied with your product. Chrome, brushed brass, matt black, and other specialist finishes are particularly susceptible to chemical damage.
What's covered
- Manufacturing defects and structural failures
- Finish defects: peeling, bubbling, or discolouration
- Mechanism failures under normal use (flush valves, hinges)
- Tap cartridge failures within the guarantee period
- Leaks or faults arising from the product itself
What's not covered
- Detachable or removable components (shower hoses, tap legs, feet, handles): 1-year cover only, regardless of the main product guarantee
- Damage caused by harsh or abrasive cleaning products, bleach, or non-pH-neutral cleaners. Finishes must be cleaned with warm water and mild pH-neutral soap only, following the manufacturer's care guide
- Damage from incorrect or non-professional installation
- Normal wear and tear (surface scratches, chips from daily use)
- Misuse, accidental damage, or deliberate damage
- Products modified or repaired outside of our authorisation
- Consumable parts: cartridges, seals, bulbs, batteries
- Removal and reinstallation labour costs
- Toilet seats where the hygiene seal has been removed: these cannot be returned unless faulty

We review your claim and contact the manufacturer on your behalf. You won't need to deal with anyone other than us.
Resolved for you
We'll arrange a replacement, repair, or refund, whichever is appropriate. Most claims are resolved within 5-10 working days.
