The legal stuff

Terms & conditions

These terms govern your use of the FNX Bathrooms website (fnxbathrooms.com) and any orders you place with us. Please take a few minutes to read them - placing an order means you accept them.

Last updated: 14 May 2026

1. About us

FNX Bathrooms is a trading name of FNX Bathrooms Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 03806913), VAT number GB741272060, with its registered office at 8 Repton Court, Repton Close, Basildon, Essex, SS13 1LN. We are registered with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (reference ZB863357). You can reach us by email at info@fnxbathrooms.com or by phone on 01268 438171.

2. Placing an order

When you place an order through the website you are making an offer to buy the listed products. We will email you an order confirmation as soon as we receive it. The contract between us is formed when we email you to confirm dispatch, not at the point of payment. We may decline an order at any time before dispatch, in which case we'll issue a full refund.

3. Pricing and VAT

All prices include UK VAT at the prevailing rate unless you have explicitly toggled to "ex. VAT" on the site. We work hard to keep pricing accurate, but if a clear pricing error is identified we reserve the right to cancel and refund the order before dispatch. Our lowest-price guarantee sets out how we price-match against UK competitors.

4. Payment

We accept all major debit and credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal and Klarna. Payment is taken at the point of order. Card details are processed by our payment partners (Shopify Payments, Klarna and PayPal) and are not stored on our servers.

5. Delivery

We deliver across mainland UK. Delivery options, lead times and costs are shown on each product page and confirmed at checkout. Free next-day delivery is available on qualifying products when ordered before 2pm Monday to Friday. Full details are on our delivery page.

Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. Please inspect parcels before signing - sign as "damaged" if there is visible transit damage and notify us within 48 hours so we can resolve it quickly.

6. Returns and cancellations

You have a statutory right to cancel most online orders within 14 days of receiving them under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, and we extend this to a goodwill 30-day window on most items. To return an item, contact us and send it back to the address we provide, unused and in its original condition and packaging. Full process, timescales and exclusions (such as bespoke, made-to-order or hygiene-sealed items) are set out on our returns & refunds page.

7. Faulty or misdescribed goods

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the goods we supply must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If an item is faulty, not as described, or develops a fault, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement or refund. If you tell us within 30 days of delivery that an item is faulty, you have the short-term right to reject it for a full refund. This is in addition to any manufacturer's guarantee and does not affect your statutory rights.

8. Warranty

All products carry the manufacturer's guarantee - typically 5-25 years depending on category. We handle warranty claims on your behalf so you don't need to deal with the manufacturer directly. See our guarantee & warranty page for what's covered, what isn't, and how to claim.

9. Orders placed through marketplaces

If you buy our products through an online marketplace such as Amazon or eBay, your purchase is also subject to that marketplace's own terms, policies and returns rules, which may differ from those on our website. We fulfil marketplace orders using the information the marketplace provides, as described in our privacy policy.

10. Your account

You're responsible for keeping your account password confidential and for any orders placed through it. Tell us straight away if you think your account has been used without your permission. We may suspend or close accounts used for fraudulent or abusive activity.

11. Trade accounts

Trade pricing, account terms and credit limits are governed by separate trade terms agreed at the point of account opening. Apply via our trade page.

12. Intellectual property

All content on this website - including product photography, copy, the FNX logo and brand assets - is owned by or licensed to FNX Bathrooms Ltd. You may not reproduce, redistribute or scrape the site for commercial use without prior written permission.

13. Events outside our control

We are not liable for any delay or failure to meet our obligations where this is caused by events outside our reasonable control - for example extreme weather, carrier disruption, strikes, supplier failure or other force majeure events. If a delay is significant we will let you know, and you may contact us to cancel the affected order for a refund of anything paid for goods not yet delivered.

14. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot be limited by law. Subject to that, our total liability to you in connection with any order is capped at the price you paid for the product(s) in question, and we are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable or that arise from your own misuse or incorrect installation of the goods.

15. Privacy and data

How we collect and use your personal data is set out in our privacy policy. By using the site you agree to that handling.

16. Complaints and disputes

If something has gone wrong, please contact us first at info@fnxbathrooms.com or on 01268 438171 - we aim to resolve complaints quickly and fairly. If we can't resolve a dispute between us, you may be able to refer it to an alternative dispute resolution provider or pursue it through the courts. Nothing here affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

17. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your order is the one published on the website at the time you place the order.

18. General

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply. A delay in enforcing these terms is not a waiver of our rights. These terms are between you and us; no other person has any right to enforce them under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.

19. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales, without prejudice to your rights as a consumer in your country of residence.
